Our new Howa Mini Action VGH is a vertical grip Ultra Carbon hand laminated sporting riflestock. It is the lightest, handiest hunting and target stock in our popular vertical grip design for the demanding Tikka rifleman. Available in your choice of our dipped and painted finishes, including our new Cerrakote sponges.

Stocky's Take: We fit the Howa/Tikka models very tightly, there is literally no slop. When you first set in your barreled action into place that is probably the first thing you will notice. Because the recoil lug is seperate from the receiver, getting it seated correctly is of primary importance. With your recoil lug bottomed in the stock, you must have at least about 0.070" protruding into the receiver slot to be considered acceptable. Ideal is 0.0800" to 0.0900".
