At its core, the Arex Delta Gen 2 M utilises an innovative Striker Double Action system. Unlike pistols with fully cocked strikers, the Delta’s striker spring is only partially compressed when a cartridge is chambered. This design prioritises enhanced safety, providing a reliable and controlled firing mechanism.
- Enhanced Ergonomics: The Gen 2 iteration of the Arex Delta M incorporates significant ergonomic improvements based on user feedback. The original checkered grip texture has been upgraded to a non-slip stippling, offering a secure hold in various conditions. This sandpaper-like stippling covers all four sides of the grip, complemented by smooth edges to prevent snagging on clothing during active use.
- Modular Design: The pistol's modular design allows for extensive customisation, ensuring it can be tailored to individual preferences. Removable front and rear frame inserts house the slide guides and the complete fire control mechanism, with only the front insert being the serialised component.
- Optics Ready Configuration: This standout feature provides a dedicated recess milled into the slide for direct optic mounting. This thoughtful design ensures a secure and low-profile interface for most miniature reflex sights, commonly known as "red dots".
- Flared Magwell: An additionally flared magwell facilitates smooth and rapid magazine changes, crucial for competitive shooting or quick reloads in the field.
