Overview
The Benelli Civolani Limited Edition 12ga Semi-Auto is a distinguished firearm, meticulously crafted to honour the enduring legacy of Bruno Civolani, the visionary inventor behind the renowned Benelli inertia system. This special edition pays homage to his genius by exquisitely embellishing the iconic Benelli 121 model with two precious and elaborate engravings. It embodies a grand style that seamlessly blends science, history, art, and the rich tradition of shotguns from Urbino, making it a true collector's item for enthusiasts of fine firearms and those who appreciate historical significance in their sporting or hunting equipment.
Beyond its artistic value, this semi-automatic shotgun delivers the reliable performance Benelli is known for, making it a standout choice for discerning collectors and individuals seeking a premium firearm for sporting pursuits.
- Inertia Unlocking System: The core of this Benelli shotgun's timeless quality lies in its reliable inertia unlocking system, a 70 mm chamber, and a barrel with a fixed choke, all reflecting the original characteristics of the 121.
- Right Side Engraving: The artistry of its engravings tells a compelling story. The right side features an image of Civolani alongside Galileo and Newton, illustrating the principle of inertia that connects these three great minds. This is set against a backdrop of scientific formulas, a golden globe, and Newton's pendulum.
- Left Side Engraving: The narrative unfolds through emblematic places from Bruno Civolani's life, including the two towers of Bologna (Garisenda and Asinelli) and the small towers of the Ducal Palace of Urbino. Four pheasants in the centre symbolise nature, linking the two significant cities in the inventor's journey.
