The Black Magic Flipper Jig is a precision-engineered slow pitch metal jig designed to entice a wide range of predatory species. Its unique design creates a wide and sweeping side-to-side movement on the fall, mimicking a wounded baitfish, and an erratic darting action on retrieve, triggering aggressive strikes.

Fishing Style and Application

Flipper jigs are versatile and suitable for both bottom bouncing and mechanical jigging, making them effective for catching Snapper, Kingfish, and other predatory species.

Bottom Bouncing:
- Fish when drifting or at anchor.
- Cast your jig up current to allow it time to sink to the bottom before it is directly beneath you.
- Once you feel the bottom, wind in 2-3 metres and then drop it back down again.
- Repeat this process until the jig has moved down current past your boat, then wind in and repeat.
