Blaser R8 Professional Success Without Sights .308 Win

The Blaser R8 Professional Success stands as a testament to German engineering, offering a premium hunting rifle that excels in speed, precision, and ergonomic design. Chambered in the widely respected .308 Win calibre, this model is supplied without open sights, providing a clean barrel profile perfectly suited for custom optic integration, making it an ideal choice for discerning hunters seeking a tailored setup.

At the core of the R8 platform is Blaser's renowned straight-pull action. This innovative system features a robust 14-lug radial collet that locks directly into the barrel, ensuring exceptional strength and safety while enabling incredibly fast, linear cycling. This allows the user to maintain their sight picture and cheek weld for rapid follow-up shots. Further enhancing safety, the manual cocking system permits the rifle to be carried un-cocked with a loaded chamber, ready to be intuitively cocked with a simple thumb slide movement just before a shot.

A defining characteristic of this rifle is the "Success" stock. Its ergonomically optimised, impact-resistant synthetic thumbhole design naturally guides the hand and arm into a relaxed posture. This significantly reduces muscle tension and helps to eliminate flinching, leading to a more stable shooting platform and consistently tighter groups in varied field conditions. The stock is further enhanced with weatherproof, rubber-like elastomer inlays on the grip and fore-end, ensuring a secure and positive hold even in challenging weather.

• Radial Straight-Pull Action: The self-centring, 14-lug radial collet lockup provides an incredibly strong, safe, and blazingly fast straight-pull mechanism for rapid follow-up shots without losing your target picture.
• Success Thumbhole Stock: The ergonomically perfected thumbhole design naturally aligns the hand and wrist, reducing shooter fatigue and promoting a relaxed, flinch-free trigger pull for maximum accuracy.
• Manual Cocking System: Offers the ultimate in hunting safety. The rifle can be carried with a round in the chamber while completely de-cocked, and quietly cocked with the thumb slide only when ready to fire.
• Modular Barrel System: The R8 is built around a fully modular chassis. The barrel, bolt head, and magazine insert can be easily swapped in the field using an Allen key, allowing you to change calibres quickly.
• Desmodromic Trigger: Features a crisp, direct trigger pull that breaks like glass. The trigger mechanism is mechanically reset, ensuring absolute reliability even in heavily iced or dirt-clogged environments.
• Weatherproof Inlays: The rugged synthetic stock is enhanced with specialised elastomer grip panels that remain tactile and secure in freezing temperatures and pouring rain.
• Removable Magazine/Trigger Unit: The magazine and trigger guard are combined into a single, quickly detachable unit, allowing for fast, safe loading and unloading while preventing unauthorised use when removed.
