The manual safety is a lever located in front of the trigger. Pull it forward for safety off, or pull it backwards (towards the trigger) for safety on. Always ensure the safety is engaged until you are ready to shoot.

The automatic cocking safety system prevents the trigger from being pulled while the air rifle is being cocked. This safety engages when the barrel is broken and disengages once the barrel is returned to its firing position.
