The Catch Freestyle Kabura is an innovative lure engineered for enticing wary snapper, especially when fishing conditions are challenging and the bite is slow. Developed with advanced Japanese technology and extensively tested, this 60gm sliding lure is designed to effectively trigger strikes even from lethargic fish.

Unlike traditional fixed jig heads, the Freestyle features a free-sliding head that moves up the leader away from the hooks once a fish is hooked. This intelligent design eliminates the leverage a fish can use to shake the hook, significantly increasing your success rate.

• No Leverage Sliding System: The heavy lead head is not fixed to the hook. When a fish shakes its head, it does not shake the weight of the lure. The head slides up the line, leaving the fish fighting only the small hooks, which drastically reduces the chance of pulling the hook.
• "Do Nothing" Action: This lure is easy to use, even for novice anglers. The hydrodynamic head design creates a seductive wobble on both the drop and the retrieve. Simply drop it to the bottom, wind it up slowly (mechanical jigging is not required), and wait for the rod to load up.

The 60gm weight makes this an ideal all-rounder for inshore fishing, performing exceptionally well in depths between 20m and 50m. It is highly effective in harbour channels or light drift conditions offshore, targeting species such as Snapper, Kingfish, Gurnard, John Dory, and Trevally. To fish effectively, drop the Kabura to the sea floor, take one slow wind of the handle, then pause. Slowly wind it up 5-10 metres off the bottom, then drop it back down. When you feel bites, continue to wind slowly until the rod fully loads up with the weight of the fish, as striking too early can pull the lure away.
