These jig heads offer a unique feature set that elevates performance for this essential fishing category.

At the core of these jig heads are quality BKK hooks, enhanced with Daiwa's SaqSas hook coating. This super-slippery, Teflon-like coating significantly increases the penetrating power of the hook point, providing a superior hook-up ratio. Constructed with a 2X strong BKK heavy wire, Daiwa Bait Junkie Jig Heads are designed for a wide range of saltwater and freshwater fishing applications.

A standout feature is the totally unique bait keeper, which evolved through 18 months of development and over 25 different prototypes. The primary goal was to create a jig head bait keeper that performs exceptionally well with Daiwa's stretchy ELASTOMAX material from their Bait Junkie soft plastics. This design effectively eliminates the common issue of soft plastics being pulled down over the keeper and bunching up.

The head design of the Bait Junkie Jig Head features a mostly cylinder shape with a flat back for optimal, clean rigging. A flattened 'chin', when combined with Daiwa's buoyant ELASTOMAX material, promotes a 'tail up' posture for your bait when it rests on the bottom. This unique design ensures an enticing presentation, even in very hard bottom situations where other jig head shapes might fail.

Even the packaging has been carefully designed for both convenience and long-term storage. Bait Junkie Jig Heads are supplied in a resealable zip-lock bag, ideal for keeping new jig heads protected from moisture in tackle boxes, preventing rust that can ruin hooks before use.
