The DPT #86 Suppressor Muzzle Brake Cap is an ingenious upgrade designed by the renowned New Zealand manufacturer, DPT Machinists. If you are running a 7mm workhorse (like a 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm-08, or the new 7mm PRC) through a standard DPT MK2 modular suppressor, this drop-in front cap is engineered to drastically reduce the punishing shoulder-kick of your rifle, making it ideal for hunting and sporting activities across New Zealand and beyond.
To install, you simply unscrew the standard front baffle of your existing MK2 DPT suppressor and thread this DPT muzzle brake cap directly in its place. Because it utilises a clever radial design with 3 primary circumference ports (and 9 ports in total), it never needs to be timed or "indexed" to your rifle barrel with crush washers—it just screws on and is instantly ready to perform as a highly effective suppressor brake.
