This EGW Picatinny Rail Base features a bevel on both sides, making it ambidextrous for ease of use. The Picatinny cross slots extend the full length of the rail, offering shooters maximum flexibility when positioning scope rings and other accessories. These cross slots are precisely machined to the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specifications, maintaining tight tolerances of +/-.002".
After machining, the mounts undergo tumbling and sand blasting. The aluminium mounts are then Type III hard coat anodised for exceptional durability and resistance to wear. For steel rails (if applicable to a specific variant), a Mil Spec parkerised finish ensures a durable, rust-resistant surface.
MOA Recommendations:
- 0 MOA: Ideal for shooting distances between 0-500 yards, providing a flat trajectory for close to mid-range precision.
- 20 MOA: Recommended for shooting distances between 500-1000 yards, providing additional elevation adjustment for long-range precision shooting.
