• Thoroughly remove all oil, grease, or dirt from the surface to be blued. Cleaning with G96 Gun Degreaser is recommended for best preparation.
• Lightly sand any pitted or rusted areas with emery cloth or steel wool to ensure a smooth surface.
• Apply a small amount of G96 Liquid Gun Blue using a clean patch or a soft cloth.
• Once blued, flush the treated surface with water and dry by gently rubbing with a soft cloth.
• For a long-lasting, lustrous finish and enhanced protection, apply a coating of G96 Gun Treatment, G96 Gun Oil, or G96 Synthetic CLP Gun Oil. Note that better penetration is achieved if the metal is slightly warm.
