Unlike traditional "diabolo" shaped pellets, which have a waist and skirt, these slugs share the aerodynamic profile of a firearm projectile. This shape drastically improves the Ballistic Coefficient (BC), allowing the projectile to retain velocity and energy much further downrange while resisting wind drift significantly better than any standard pellet.

This specific version is the heavy 33-grain model, sized to a diameter of .218" (5.54mm). The .218" sizing is critical; slugs require a precise fit in the barrel to engage the rifling correctly and seal the air behind them.
