Overview

Commemorate Hornady’s 75th Anniversary with this exclusive Collector’s Edition Box of 150gr .30 Cal (.308 diameter) Spire Point bullets. This limited-edition pack of 25 projectiles pays homage to the very first bullet Hornady produced, presented in a faithful replica of the original packaging. Engineered for reliable controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance, these bullets incorporate Hornady’s innovative secant ogive design and renowned InterLock® technology. This combination ensures excellent mass retention and efficient energy transfer upon impact, making them ideal for effective hunting in New Zealand and beyond.

Feature	Benefit
Inner Grooves	Strategically weaken the upper section of the jacket, ensuring consistent, controlled expansion, even at long range. This design promotes reliable bullet performance across various distances encountered during hunting.
Tapered Jacket	Jacket thickness is precisely controlled for expansion at all velocities. This ensures optimal mushrooming and energy transfer, whether at close range or extended distances.
One-Piece Core	Unlike two-piece divided cores, the InterLock^® core does not separate. This design retains more mass and energy for deep penetration and large, consistent wound channels, contributing to effective terminal performance for hunting.
Cannelure	Provides accurate and consistent crimping, which is crucial for reliable ammunition loading. It also works in conjunction with the InterLock^® ring to ensure the core and jacket remain securely locked during expansion.
InterLock^® Ring	The raised InterLock^® ring is embedded in the bullet's core, ensuring the core and jacket are locked in one piece throughout expansion. This critical feature helps retain mass and energy, delivering dependable performance on game.
