Hornady Precision Hunter 7mm PRC 175gr ELD-X 20 Rounds

Elevate your long-range hunting capabilities with Hornady Precision Hunter 7mm PRC 175gr ELD-X ammunition. This advanced cartridge combines the formidable 7mm PRC with the innovative ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag - Expanding) bullet, engineered to deliver exceptional accuracy and reliable terminal performance across all practical hunting distances.

The foundation of the ELD-X bullet's superior performance lies in its patented Heat Shield tip. Unlike traditional polymer tips that can deform from aerodynamic heating during flight, compromising accuracy at extended ranges, Hornady's Heat Shield tip is crafted from a heat-resistant polymer. This ensures the tip maintains its perfect meplat and preserves the bullet's high ballistic coefficient (BC), as rigorously verified by Doppler radar, providing unmatched accuracy and predictable trajectories for crucial long-range engagements.

• Match-Grade Accuracy: The ELD-X bullet is meticulously designed for precision, making this ammunition an outstanding choice for demanding hunting scenarios where shot placement is critical.
• Heat Shield Tip Technology: This innovative tip resists aerodynamic heating, ensuring the bullet's ballistic coefficient remains consistent for superior accuracy and flatter trajectories at all ranges.
• Conventional Range Performance (0-400 yards): At typical hunting distances, the ELD-X bullet initiates controlled, continuous expansion. Its thin nose section peels back, shedding material until it reaches the robust shank, where the InterLock ring firmly binds the core and jacket. The heavy shank then continues to drive forward, expanding for highly effective and reliable terminal performance on game.
• Optimised Extended Range Terminal Performance (400+ yards): For longer shots, the Heat Shield tip is engineered to drive backward into the nose cavity upon impact, initiating expansion even at lower velocities. This results in a large mushroom and impressive 85-90% retained weight, ensuring deep penetration and dependable results on game at extended distances.

Whether you are pursuing game at conventional ranges or testing your skills with long-range precision, Hornady Precision Hunter 7mm PRC ammunition with ELD-X bullets delivers optimised ballistic coefficients, exceptional accuracy, and consistent, reliable performance. This ammunition is a top choice for hunters seeking confidence in every shot.
