The flat-bottom action provides superior bedding, complemented by an integral recoil lug that effectively manages trunnion pull. This rifle incorporates a crisp two-stage trigger and a three-position safety, allowing the bolt to be opened safely while the firearm remains on 'safe'.
An excellent choice for both hunting and target shooting, the Howa 1500 comes with a Hogue pillar-bedded overmolded stock, ensuring a superior fit, function, and accuracy. Stock Customisation: Any Howa 1500 Short Action rifle can be fitted with a shorter stock (available only in black). This option reduces the length of pull from 15 1/3" (39cm) to 13 3/4" (35cm). Please request this option online or in-store if you require a shorter stock.
