Howa Superlite Walnut Stock 16" .308 Win

The Howa Superlite Walnut Stock 16" .308 Win rifle is an excellent choice for hunters and sporting enthusiasts across New Zealand and beyond, seeking a lightweight and reliable firearm. This Howa Superlite model, featuring a classic walnut stock and a compact 16" barrel, is designed for ease of carry and manoeuvrability in the field. The .308 Win calibre combined with the 16" barrel makes it a versatile option for various hunting scenarios, offering precise performance in a super lite package.

Built on a scaled-down version of the renowned Howa 1500 action, the Howa Superlite inherits a legacy of precision and safety. The action is based on an early model Sako design, featuring a robust one-piece forged bolt and an easy-to-strip firing pin assembly for straightforward cleaning and maintenance. Its flat bottom action ensures superior bedding, while an integral recoil lug enhances stability and accuracy. A crisp two-stage HACT trigger provides a predictable pull, and the 3-position safety allows the bolt to be opened with the safety engaged, offering peace of mind during handling and making it a reliable choice for any outdoor adventure.

The 16" barrel is threaded 1/2-28", making it suppressor-ready, a valuable feature for reducing noise and enhancing comfort in outdoor environments.
