This design aggressively grips and slows the plastic wad, allowing the shot column to exit the muzzle undisturbed and drastically reducing pattern-destroying flyers. The porting also functions as an efficient muzzle brake, venting expanding gases to reduce felt recoil by up to 25% and significantly minimises muzzle jump, enabling faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
