The rifle's forend is equipped with a full-length anodised aluminium handguard, offering over 20 M-LOK attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for extensive customisation with a wide range of M-LOK compatible accessories.

The primary components of the Marlin 1895 Dark .45-70 Govt are treated with a Graphite Black Cerakote finish, providing superior corrosion resistance essential for outdoor conditions.
