Product Description
The Oceania Defence .50 BMG Inconel Suppressor is a pinnacle of modern additive manufacturing, specifically engineered to tame the extreme concussion and flash of the .50 BMG (12.7x99mm) cartridge. This advanced Oceania Defence suppressor utilises Selective Laser Melting (3D Printing), where the entire unit is printed as a single, monolithic piece of Inconel 718, a nickel-based superalloy typically found in jet engines and rockets.
This "one-piece" construction eliminates traditional failure points like welds or threaded seams, allowing for a suppressor that is significantly lighter and more durable than those made with conventional machining.
Features
-
3D-Printed Monolithic Construction: Printed as a single integral unit from Inconel 718 powder. This allows for complex internal baffle geometries that are impossible to machine, optimising gas flow to reduce back-pressure and recoil.
-
Extreme Thermal Resilience: Inconel 718 retains the majority of its strength at temperatures over 700°C. This makes the suppressor "belt-fed rated" and capable of handling rapid-fire strings that would cause stainless steel suppressors to soften or fail.
-
Significant Recoil Mitigation: Specifically designed to work in tandem with high-power rifles like the Victrix Corvo, its internal structure acts as a massive muzzle brake, effectively dispersing high-pressure gases to reduce the "punishing" recoil typical of a .50 BMG.
-
Signature Reduction: Provides dramatic reduction in both muzzle flash and acoustic signature, which is essential for preserving the shooter's hearing and maintaining a lower profile in hunting or sporting environments.
-
Advanced Flow Dynamics: Engineered to minimise the impact on bolt velocity and back-pressure, ensuring the rifle's cycling remains consistent and reducing gas "blowback" to the shooter's face.
