Shimano Stream Flight XT Freshwater Rod

The Shimano Stream Flight XT is a premium freshwater and light-inshore fishing rod family crafted for ultimate casting precision, extreme sensitivity, and maximum lure control. These rods are highly adaptive for serious trout, salmon, and light nearshore anglers across diverse waterways.

Whether hiking into remote streams where featherlight accuracy and light-touch sensitivity are necessary for backcountry lure fishing, or seeking crisp feedback for drifting egg patterns and jigging deep lakes, the Stream Flight XT delivers. Its titanium component upgrades also offer necessary corrosion resistance for river mouths and estuaries, making it a versatile choice for various fishing environments.

• 30/40T Carbon Blend Blank: An advanced, ultra-lightweight, and highly responsive carbon core that maximises vibration transmission for superior feel.
• Diaflash Butt Construction: Shimano’s proprietary reinforcement wrapping on the lower section reduces blank twist under heavy loads, boosting casting distance accuracy and fish-fighting lifting power.
• SeaGuide Titanium Guides: Fitted with sleek, iridescent Zirconia inserts to minimise tip weight, deliver smooth line flow for braid or mono, and resist corrosion.
• Carbon Fibre Grips: Features a modern carbon shell rear handle and a custom Shimano carbon fibre reel seat for a direct, sensitive connection between your hand and the lure.

The Stream Flight XT series is engineered to provide anglers with a dependable and high-performance tool, ensuring an exceptional experience across a wide range of freshwater and light inshore fishing scenarios.
