Overview
Engineered for the demanding conditions of backcountry and bush hunting, the Tikka T3x Superlite Stainless in 7mm-08 Remington is a highly versatile and lightweight rifle. Custom-cut to a compact 18-inch barrel, this configuration offers exceptional maneuverability, making it an ideal choice for hunters navigating dense scrub or climbing alpine terrain.
The thoughtful design ensures that when paired with an over-barrel suppressor, the rifle maintains an optimal overall length and balance, preventing it from becoming front-heavy or cumbersome in challenging environments. This balance of a short barrel and lightweight construction delivers a rifle that is both nimble and powerful.
- 18-Inch Barrel Advantage: While factory Superlite barrels are often longer, this custom 18-inch configuration is specifically tailored for bush hunting, allowing for effortless navigation through thick timber and maintaining excellent balance for off-hand shooting.
- 7mm-08 Remington Calibre: This calibre is highly efficient in shorter barrels, providing exceptional ballistic performance, deep penetration, and a mild recoil impulse. It delivers the necessary power for medium-to-large game without the punishing recoil associated with magnum calibres.
- Uncompromising Weather Resistance: Featuring a high-grade stainless steel barreled action and a rugged fiberglass-reinforced synthetic stock, this rifle is built to withstand rain, snow, and mud, ensuring reliable performance in all weather conditions.
- Out-of-the-Box Accuracy: Manufactured by Sako in Finland, Tikka rifles are globally recognised for their guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy and smooth bolt operation.
- Fluted Barrel: The fluted stainless steel barrel reduces overall weight and enhances barrel cooling during extended use.
- Redesigned Ejection Port: A widened angular ejection port facilitates faster and easier single-loading of cartridges.
- Steel Recoil Lug: Ensures absolute zero retention and provides enhanced durability under harsh conditions.
- Modular Synthetic Stock: Features an asymmetrical grip pattern for supreme control in all weather conditions, along with an interchangeable pistol grip (sold separately) to customise the angle for various shooting positions.
- Foam-Filled Rear Stock: A foam insert within the rear stock minimises stock-generated noise when brushing against foliage, aiding in stealth during hunting.
- Improved Recoil Pad: A modernised recoil pad effectively absorbs impact, allowing for greater focus on shot placement.
