The foundation of the Spitfire HD Gen II is its advanced prism-based optical system, which utilises high-definition (HD) glass elements to minimise chromatic aberration and deliver outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness. The true advantage of a prism scope is its etched reticle. Unlike traditional red dots that rely entirely on battery power and can appear blurry to shooters with astigmatism, the Spitfire's AR-BDC4 reticle remains crisp and visible even if the battery dies. When powered on, the reticle offers 12 brightness settings (including two night-vision compatible modes) to match any lighting condition, from brilliant midday sun to the darkest dusk.

Optimised for the popular 5.56/.223 cartridge, the AR-BDC4 reticle provides an illuminated centre dot for lightning-fast close-quarters engagements, surrounded by a broken circle and intuitive holdover hash marks that allow for precise shots out to 650 yards without dialing turrets. Unique to the 5x model, the Spitfire Gen II features an integrated Micro Red Dot Sight (MRDS) mounting platform on top of the optic (compatible with the Viper/Venom footprint). This allows you to mount a secondary 1x red dot directly to the scope for seamless transitions between long-range targets and extreme close-quarters use.
