Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II 5x Prism Scope SPR-500

The Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II 5x Prism Scope SPR-500 delivers a powerful combination of rapid target acquisition and precise mid-range magnification, making it an exceptional optic for diverse outdoor activities. This redesigned Gen II model is leaner, lighter, and more capable, perfectly complementing modern sporting rifles with its compact, 306gm design.

At the core of the Spitfire HD Gen II is an advanced prism-based optical system, featuring high-definition (HD) glass elements that minimise chromatic aberration and provide outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness. A key advantage of this prism scope is its etched AR-BDC4 reticle. Unlike traditional red dots that rely solely on battery power and can appear blurred to those with astigmatism, the Spitfire's reticle remains crisp and visible even without illumination. When powered, it offers 12 brightness settings, including two night-vision compatible modes, to adapt to any lighting condition from bright daylight to low light.

Optimised for 5.56/.223 cartridges, the AR-BDC4 reticle features an illuminated centre dot for fast close-quarters engagements, surrounded by a broken circle and intuitive holdover hash marks for accurate shots out to 650 yards. Unique to the 5x model, the Spitfire Gen II includes an integrated Micro Red Dot Sight (MRDS) mounting platform on top, compatible with the Vortex Viper/Venom footprint. This allows for the easy addition of a secondary 1x red dot, enabling seamless transitions between long-range precision and extreme close-quarters use.

• HD Optical System: Features high-definition glass and fully multi-coated lenses to maximise light transmission, reduce glare, and deliver exceptional resolution and colour fidelity.
• Etched AR-BDC4 Reticle: The glass-etched reticle provides a constant, crisp aiming point with or without battery power, and includes ballistic drop compensation holdovers specifically tuned for 5.56/.223 out to 650 yards.
• Astigmatism Friendly: With its etched reticle, this prism scope offers a perfectly sharp aiming point for users who experience "starbursting" with traditional reflex sights.
• Integrated MRDS Platform: A built-in mounting plate on top of the optic is compatible with the Vortex Viper/Venom footprint, allowing for the easy addition of a secondary 1x red dot.
• Multi-Height Mounting: Includes both a Lower 1/3 Co-Witness mount and a Low Mount, ensuring optimal eye alignment on a variety of rifle platforms.
• Daylight Bright Illumination: Offers 10 daylight brightness settings and 2 ultra-low night-vision compatible settings, ensuring the centre aiming point is always highly visible.
• Compact & Rugged: Nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed for 100% waterproof and fogproof performance. The hard-anodized, shockproof chassis is built to withstand heavy recoil and harsh impacts.

• 1 x T10 Torx multi-tool
