The Vortex Sport Riflescope Rings are engineered to provide a secure and reliable mounting solution for your optic, ensuring optimal performance in the field. These 1-inch rings are available in a range of heights to suit various rifle and scope configurations.
Vortex offers the Sport rings in four specific heights, measured from the rail to the centre of your scope tube:

| Low | 0.80" | Smaller objective lenses (typically 32mm-40mm); ensures a tighter cheek weld. |
| Medium | 0.90" | Most common; fits objective lenses up to 44mm on standard hunting rifles. |
| High | 1.10" | Larger objective lenses (50mm+) or rifles with high bolt throw clearance needs. |
| Extra High | 1.50" | Rare; generally for unique setups or specific firearm configurations requiring extreme clearance. |
Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum (Type 2 low-glare matte black anodized).
Compatibility: Designed to fit both Picatinny and Weaver rails.
Note: While they fit both, Picatinny is generally preferred for its standardised slot size, which provides better repeatability.
Mounting Hardware:
- Torx size: Uses T-25 for both the top (cap) screws and the base clamp screws.
Torque Settings:
- Cap Screws: 15-18 in-lbs.
- Base Clamp Screws: 30 in-lbs.
Pro Tip: Always use a torque wrench to ensure these settings. Over-tightening can damage your scope tube or the rings themselves.
