Berkley Gulp Jerk Shad 7"

The Berkley Gulp! Jerk Shad 7" is a highly effective soft bait designed to revolutionise your fishing experience with its unparalleled scent dispersion and lifelike action. Engineered with Gulp! technology, this soft bait releases 400 times more scent than traditional plastic baits, creating an irresistible scent trail that actively draws in a wide range of predatory fish. Made from 100% natural and biodegradable ingredients, it offers an environmentally conscious choice for anglers.

Its realistic baitfish profile and erratic darting and fluttering motion perfectly mimic a wounded prey, making it deadly for New Zealand's prized species such as snapper, kingfish, kahawai, trevally, and gurnard, as well as tuna, Cobia, Samson fish, golden snapper, barra, jewfish, big flathead, and Sailfish.

Versatility is key with the Gulp! Jerk Shad. Achieve its signature wounded baitfish action with a simple jerking retrieve, or experiment with a slow roll, twitching, or bottom bouncing to entice bites in various conditions. For optimal performance, rig this 7" soft bait with a Nitro Saltwater Pro or Stealth hook. For deeper water presentations or when targeting fish holding close to the bottom, a Nitro Elevator hook or a 1/2oz to 1oz jighead will provide excellent results. This flexibility makes it ideal for bouncing off reef floors, feeding through berley trails, or casting into the wash around rock platforms.
