Berkley Gulp Jerk Shad Soft Bait 9"

The Berkley Gulp Jerk Shad 9" soft bait is specifically designed for anglers pursuing substantial predatory fish across diverse saltwater environments. This impressive 9-inch jerkbait stands as a top-tier choice, consistently proving its effectiveness for sought-after species such as snapper, kingfish, kahawai, trevally, and gurnard. Its realistic baitfish profile, combined with the revolutionary Gulp formula, ensures unparalleled scent dispersion, making this soft plastic lure an essential asset for your tackle box.

Engineered to replicate a wounded baitfish, the Gulp Jerk Shad delivers an irresistible darting and fluttering action with a simple jerking retrieve. This lifelike movement, amplified by the advanced Gulp formula, releases 400 times more scent than traditional plastic baits, drawing in both reef and pelagic species from significant distances. For optimal presentation and to maximise strikes with this larger profile bait, consider rigging with a heavy-duty Nitro Saltwater Pro or Elevator hook, adjusting jighead weight to suit water depth and current, allowing for a slower, more enticing fall in deeper columns or a faster, erratic retrieve in shallower waters.
