Black Magic KL Strayline Rigs 5/0 & 6/0

Elevate your fishing success with Black Magic KL Strayline Rigs, meticulously pre-tied for ultimate convenience and superior performance. Designed for anglers who demand reliability, these rigs are ready to deploy straight from the packet, saving you valuable time on the water and enhancing your chances of a successful catch.

At the core of these rigs are the innovative Black Magic KL Red recurve/circle hooks. This advanced design, a hybrid of a "Longline" hook and a wide gap or kahle hook, features a straight eye and an offset point. It is engineered to deliver a highly effective self-hooking mechanism, consistently setting in the corner of the fish's mouth. This not only increases your hook-up rate but also significantly reduces the risk of gut hooking, making these rigs an excellent choice for ethical catch and release practices and promoting fish survival.

The self-setting nature of the KL hooks means there is no need for a forceful strike. Simply maintain tension, and the fish will hook themselves as the KL hook naturally rotates into position. This makes the rigs exceptionally effective in diverse fishing conditions, from shallow coastal waters to deeper channels and turbulent surf, where detecting subtle bites can be challenging. Target species such as snapper, kahawai, trevally, and kingfish will find these rigs irresistible.
