GRS Sporter Stock Howa 1500 SA / Weatherby Vanguard SA

Elevate your Howa 1500 Short Action (SA) or Weatherby Vanguard SA rifle with the GRS Sporter Stock, engineered for both precision shooting and demanding outdoor adventures. The GRS Sporter is the flagship laminate model that established GRS globally, renowned as the ultimate hybrid stock for those who demand uncompromising accuracy on the target range yet require a dynamic, well-balanced platform for hunting and varminting. The Howa 1500 action is already highly respected for its rugged forged steel construction and Japanese precision; integrating it with the GRS Sporter unlocks its absolute maximum potential.

Constructed from premium, highly dense stratified birch laminate, the Sporter provides an incredibly rigid and stable foundation that effectively dampens harmonic vibration and manages heavy recoil. GRS laminate is specially treated and oiled to resist moisture and temperature shifts, ensuring your point of impact remains consistent in changing weather conditions. It is precision-inletted for your Howa 1500 SA receiver—simply drop the action in, torque the screws to the recommended 5.2nm, and you are ready to use without the need for traditional glass bedding.

The defining characteristic of the Sporter is its world-class ergonomics. It features the signature GRS ergonomically angled pistol grip (offset at a natural 6 degrees) that places your wrist in a relaxed, tension-free posture, drastically improving control. Furthermore, the stock features the renowned GRS SpeedLock adjustment system. With a simple press of a flush-mounted button, you can instantly make tool-less, micro-adjustments to both the cheekpiece height and the Length of Pull (LOP), ensuring flawless, customised eye alignment with your optic whether you are using it off a bench or prone in the field.
