Howa Model 1500 Stainless Steel Threaded 20" Green Bare .308 Win

The Howa Model 1500 Stainless Steel Threaded 20" Green Bare rifle offers exceptional value and precision for hunters and target shooters alike. Renowned for its out-of-the-box accuracy and robust construction, this rifle is built to perform reliably in diverse outdoor conditions.

At its core, the Howa 1500 features a design based on an early model Sako action, ensuring reliable performance. It incorporates a one-piece forged bolt for enhanced strength and smooth operation, alongside an easy-strip firing pin assembly for straightforward maintenance. The flat-bottom action provides superior bedding, while an integral recoil lug effectively manages trunnion pull, contributing to consistent accuracy.

This rifle is equipped with the acclaimed HACT (Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger) two-stage trigger system, delivering a crisp, clean break that significantly improves shooting precision. A versatile three-position safety allows for secure carrying, safe cycling of the bolt to unload the chamber, and firing.

The Howa Model 1500 comes with a cold hammer-forged barrel, known for its durability and accuracy. The barrel is threaded 1/2-20, making it ready for compatible muzzle devices. The ergonomic Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock, in a distinctive green finish, provides a comfortable and secure grip, enhancing overall handling and accuracy in the field.

For those seeking customisation, any Howa 1500 Short Action rifle can be fitted with a shorter stock (available only in black). This option reduces the length of pull from 15 1/3" (39cm) to 13 3/4" (35cm). Please enquire online or in-store if you would like to explore this shorter stock option.
